The GTA 6 Collector’s Edition makes sense only if we want Vice City merchandise on its own. Rockstar calls it a Collector’s Box, not a Collector’s Edition. A Collector’s Box is a bundle of merchandise sold separately from the game it is associated with.
The game is not part of the box, so players seeking a game bundle should look elsewhere. The collection may appeal to Grand Theft Auto fans who want physical items tied to Vice City and Leonida. We can judge its appeal by looking at exactly what the box includes.
Key Takeaways
- Rockstar’s official name is Collector’s Box.
- The box contains merchandise, not a game copy.
- Its $399.99 price makes the specific items matter.
- Buyers should check the Rockstar Store for current availability.
- The scheduled shipping date matches the game’s expected release date.
What comes in the Goodtime State Vice City Collection?
The Goodtime State Vice City Collection contains 11 items, from branded wear to small keepsakes. The mix includes a figure, sunglasses, a cap, a bag, and several souvenirs.
Its appeal rests on the collection itself, not on a game copy. Here is how the GTA 6 collectors box groups its merchandise.
Character-led pieces and branded wear
The six-inch Macca the Gator figure has a stash compartment in its base. It is the most character-focused piece, with a hidden space built into the display figure.
Wearable goods include Oakley Frogskins sunglasses and a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback. The Oakley Frogskins have a matte black finish, Prizm Sapphire lenses, and Vice City pink GTA VI branding.
The New Era forty cap has Vice City and Leonida embroidery and appliques. Together, the figure and branded wear give fans several ways to carry the setting beyond the game.
Carry and display items
The Leonida Keys crossbody bag adds a practical carry item to the city collection. A magnetic Macca the Gator mirror brings the same character into a smaller display piece.
The double-sided souvenir poster features a map of Leonida. Its two-sided design makes the fictional setting the focus, rather than a single character or logo.
Small Vice City keepsakes
The smaller pieces include a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass and a Vice City swizzle spoon. The spoon has an enamel Vice City logo, while the glass puts another character on a bar keepsake.
A razor blade-style keychain carries embossed GTA VI and Vice City logos. The Leonida Keys enamel pin set comes in a custom metal tin, and the premium sticker pack arrives in a stash bag.
That completes the 11-piece lineup, with wearable goods, carry and display pieces, and compact souvenirs. Readers curious about other GTA 6 features and setting details can compare those ideas with the collection’s focus. The next question is whether this mix supports the price.
How does the $399.99 price compare with the branded items?
The $399.99 box does not include the game, so buying a copy costs extra. The Collector’s Box is a merchandise-only purchase, and the game is sold separately.
For anyone asking, “will GTA 6 collector’s edition come with the game,” the answer is no. The table separates the gta collector box from the game purchase.
| Purchase | What it includes | Known cost |
|---|---|---|
| Collector’s Box | Merchandise only | $399.99 |
| Game purchase | Game only | Price not stated |
| Combined purchase | Merchandise plus game | $399.99 plus the separate game price |
What adds tangible value
The Oakley Frogskins have a standalone comparison price of about $139. The New Era mesh cap is listed at under $30 as a standalone comparison.
Those two figures offer a partial price check, not a full valuation. The other nine items have no standalone comparison in this price breakdown, so we should not assign them assumed values.
For more on the separate game purchase, our GTA 6 preorder and edition details cover the game’s buying options. Character-focused buyers can also read about Lucia and GTA 6’s protagonists.
Who may feel shortchanged
This collector edition may fit buyers who answer yes to most of these points:
- We want the Oakley Frogskins sunglasses.
- We would wear branded clothing, including the New Era cap.
- We enjoy having the Macca the Gator figure on display.
- We prefer protagonist-focused display pieces.
- We will pay for souvenirs without individual price comparisons.
If several points fit, the merchandise may justify the price for us. If not, the box can feel costly, especially with the game sold separately. We should also know where to order it and what shipping terms apply.
Where can we order the box, and when will it ship?
The Rockstar Store is the place to check for an order. The Goodtime State collection is scheduled to ship November 19, 2026, the same date as GTA 6’s expected release.
The box is not eligible for free shipping. Check the GTA 6 release date details for more launch context, or read the console and system details before planning to play. Our GTA 6 weapons guide covers confirmed game gear, not merchandise.
Availability can change, so we should use the live listing rather than assume the box is in stock or sold out. Verify availability and shipping terms before paying, then decide if the order works for us.
Conclusion
The box is a good fit if we genuinely want several pieces of its branded collection and souvenirs. It is a poor substitute for a game edition, since players still need to buy the game separately.
We should treat the $399.99 price as the cost of merchandise, then decide whether those items matter enough to us. Players mainly seeking the game should budget for that separate purchase instead of expecting a copy inside the box.
Check the Rockstar Store listing and decide whether the included merchandise justifies the extra purchase for us.
FAQ
Will there be a collector’s edition of GTA 6?
Rockstar’s product is officially called the Goodtime State Vice City Collection Collector’s Box, rather than a Collector’s Edition. The name matters because this is a merchandise bundle, not a special game edition with a copy included. Fans looking for collectibles can consider the box on its own, while players should plan a separate game purchase.
Does the GTA 6 Collector’s Box include a copy of the game?
No, the GTA 6 Collector’s Box does not include a copy of the game. The box contains merchandise, and buyers must purchase the game separately. This means the $399.99 box price does not cover the game itself. Anyone who wants both should plan for the box cost plus the separate game price.
How many items are in the Goodtime State Vice City Collection?
The Goodtime State Vice City Collection contains 11 items. Its lineup includes wearable goods, carry and display pieces, and smaller souvenirs. The pieces range from a figure and sunglasses to a poster, pin set, and sticker pack. The game is not one of the 11 items.
What comes with the Macca the Gator figure?
The Macca the Gator figure is six inches tall and has a stash compartment in its base. That built-in space is the figure’s distinct feature. The compartment gives the character piece a small storage use, beyond serving as a display item. The collection does not include a separate game copy with the figure.
Is the Goodtime State Vice City Collection eligible for free shipping?
No, the Goodtime State Vice City Collection is not eligible for free shipping. Shipping costs are separate from the listed $399.99 box price. Buyers should check the product listing for the shipping terms that apply to their order, since the free-shipping offer does not cover this collection.
When is the Goodtime State Vice City Collection scheduled to ship?
The Goodtime State Vice City Collection is scheduled to ship on November 19, 2026. That is the same date as GTA 6’s expected release. The schedule connects the merchandise shipment with the game’s expected launch, but the box still does not include a game copy. Availability can change, so the live store listing is the best place to check its current status.
